London Bound

Glasgowgal blogs for you today from Richard Branson’s Virgin trainline service from Glasgow Central to London Euston. This Pendolino tilting train can travel as fast as 125 miles per hour (200 kilometres per hour) while in service.

Lucky for us, Richard survived his recent vacation home fire and is featuring a weekend upgrade special. For 15 pounds, you can experience first-class train travel. Spacious, fast, and with wi-fi connection as you ride. Wonderful work Richard.

Well over thirty years ago (but glasgowgal will not say precisely to preserve an air of mystery), glasgowgal’s parental units (A & B) met in a pub in London, England. We are returning to the great city to celebrate the anniversary of their first meeting. Here’s to you, A & B! Let the celebrations continue.

{No photos today due to difficulty uploading.}

Until next time, as Sir Richard might say, keep things creative.
